At OBC we believe that God has a passion and a love for his church that we will never truly understand and that we often forget. We sometimes get so busy with our schedules that we lose the pulse of God's love in our lives. Sometimes we need to re-focus and again hear the heartbeat of God. We want to be reminded that God's heart beats for each one of us, for his church, for this region, and for the world.
THE PRAYER PATH
Using a CD guide, you’ll take a meditative prayer-walk with activities along the way that will help focus on your journey with God. You’ll travel through the labyrinth over the span of about an hour through eleven stations that will encourage you to "let go" of the busyness, hurts, and distractions that can spoil relationships; center your life on God; and to reach out to the world with Christ's love. Stop by and participate Sunday, January 10 from 6:00-9:00 p.m., Monday, January 11 from 8:30-4:30 p.m. or from 6:00-9:00 p.m., or Tuesday, January 12 from 8:30-4:30 p.m. Visit the North Venue after Sunday’s services if you’d like to see the prayer path setup.
Please note: Arrive no later than ONE HOUR before the scheduled prayer path time ends so there will be time for you to complete the path.
PRAYER MINISTRY
The Elders, sensing the significant life needs and burdens facing our church family at this time, would like to invite you to drop in Tuesday, January 12 in the evening for a few minutes between 7:00 and 8:30 p.m. to be prayed for and over by the leaders of our church. We would consider it a great privilege to pray specifically for you and the life circumstances you are facing at this time. Perhaps you are struggling with a recent loss, an ongoing burden in your family, financial challenges, or health issues. We would like to partner with you in prayer.
